Does the club provide matchmaking services?
Not at all - no pressure and no stress! Members pick and choose to participate in the club's scheduled cultural, sports and social activities and meet others with simillar interests. Friendships develop naturally and sometimes when least expected, a little cupid influence happens naturally too!

Can people of all ethnic backgrounds join?
Absolutely! Everyone is welcome.

What are the ages of members?
The majority of VSSEAC members are in their thirties and forties. We also have members in their late twenties and early-mid fifties. The ratio of gals to guys is about equal. Everyone is welcome.

Who administers the Vancouver singles socials and events activities club?
The folks at VisitVancouver.bc.ca (BC's oldest community site)

How am I informed of upcoming events?
We email an invitation to each member with the details of the event as it is scheduled to you - just pick & choose to participate in the events that interest you!

What do I pay when I attend an event?
VSSEAC members pay only the cost of the event. For example, for a movie night, you would pay for your movie ticket at the cinema box office. For a social dinner, your own dinner from the restaurant's menu, etc. Just as if you are on an outing with friends!

Are there free Club events for members?
Many events are free - such as bicycling, hiking, games nites, nature walks, picnics ...

Can I participate in VSSEAC events as a non-member?
Membership is required to participate in VSSEAC activities and events. Unlike other clubs, VSSEAC does not bind members to a one year membership. VSSEAC offers 3 month memberships, half year memberships and for those who prefer annual membership (a great savings!), one year too!

Are there equal numbers of men to women at each event?
Usually there is good mix however members participate in activities which interest them.

I am new to singles clubs. What are they?
Singles clubs are a very popular alternative to online personals and expensive executive match-making services for discerning local singles looking for something real, meaningful and Lots of Fun! Singles clubs are all over the United States and Europe. VSSEAC has been around for years and is Vancouver's premier and longstanding cultural, sports and activities club for local singles in the lower mainland.

How do you protect my privacy?
We do not sell anything. We do not market you in any way. We do not post your photo on-site (unless we have your express permission). We respect your privacy.

What kind of people join VSSEAC?
